Which devices are supported?

Which WM builds are supported?

While there are many test builds available, PPCkitchen.org strives to only actively support officially released builds (builds which the carriers certified for use). PPCkitchen supports WM5, WM6/WM6.1, and WM6.5. Most of the builds released by carriers are available (making it possible to cook a "stock" rom). Various individuals frequently offer the latest test builds, for those users interested in the bleeding edge of development. Carrier released builds are the most stable, test builds frequently contain flaws of varying severity in addition to the latest enancements.

Which Radios are Supported?

PPCkitchen.org does not currently carry Radios. In general, it is not necessary to upgrade the radio of your device. Nonetheless, you should consider upgrading to the last radio offered for your device, as this is the radio most often used. For 6800 (Titan/Mogul) and 6900 (Vogue) owners, while there are kitchens for non-GPS enabled devices, nearly all kitchen cores assume you have upgraded to a GPS enabled radio. If your radio version is 3.35 or higher (the r= line in red while booting), then you have GPS enabled. If your radio version is less than 3.35, you will not be able to boot any GPS enabled custom rom. DO NOT FLASH GSM RADIOS TO CDMA DEVICES. DO NOT FLASH CDMA RADIOS TO GSM DEVICES.
